He did it with honors....
My very proud moment of my oldest graduating from high school. The gold rope means he was high honors (+3.65) and the white sash means he was a member of the National Honor Society. I had fun holding back the tears most of the ceremony. He is headed off the college this August to become a high school history teacher. He will be an excellent teacher.

And the parents should be very proud indeed. Had I been there, I would have had a very hard time holding back the tears. Tears of happiness and pride. Congratulations to all.
